Why does the Lord invite us into a posture of worship? The Lord, in His mercy, designed us to find our fullest expression in life by standing before Him accepted, delighted in, and ministering unto Him in thanksgiving and praise. God always chooses the best. If God, in loving us, chooses to design us as worshippers, then what's the point? You always become like what you worship.
There’s nothing He could want more for us than for us to become like Him. With that in mind, He designed us to be worshippers.In our history at Bethel, there was a line drawn in the sand where we said, "This is why we’re alive, this is our supreme responsibility, our great God-given opportunity to be those who minister to the Lord." As a church, our entire ministry grew out of that priority. Almost everything we've ever learned, we've learned as worshippers.

Rather, it has a physical expression in our actions. Faith is central to worship because, without it, we can’t please God. Let’s step out of fear and into faith as we worship God in spirit and truth!
Bill Johnson explains the sacrificial nature of praise and thanksgiving. Scripture says that we enter His courts through gates of praise. When we praise the Lord even when it’s difficult, we give Him an offering that becomes an access point into His presence. Let’s go through the gates!
This means to kneel down, to bless God as an act of adoration.
This means to throw out the hand, to worship with the extended hand.
This means an extension of the hand in adoration or acceptance.
This means to address in a loud tone, to triumph, glory, shout!
This means to be clear, to shine, to boast, celebrate, be clamorously foolish.
This means to touch the strings, to pluck the strings and sing along.
This means to sing, to laud; praise that God inhabits.
Our worship community, prayer house, and dance ministry are a few of the many ways in which we express our love for God. At every service, our worship teams usher in the presence of God. For a peaceful place to be in contemplative prayer, our Prayer House and its gardens are a wonderful place for people to encounter the presence of God. Our dance and flag ministry celebrates worship with powerful physical expression that reveals God’s heart without words.
Spontaneous praise often erupts in the presence of God. Our worship teams serve the local and global Church, while also helping to write songs that bring out the best in us, in order to give the best to Him. Bethel Music was founded in 2009 to steward the songs coming out of our house and our worship leaders. Today, its songs are shaping global worship culture. We invite worship leaders and musicians to come grow at Bethel Music Worship School, an on-campus program hosted each year that includes teachings by Bethel Music leaders and passionate worship services.
